Why I ship wincest: 
Where do I even begin? Honestly, when I first joined the fandom and tumblr, I was a non-shipper, didn’t read fics, just loved the show. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Time went on and I actually did ship other things besides wincest. At this time, I’d really only watched the shows once through. I think in the back of my mind I always did ship Sam and Dean. I always acknowledged they were soul mates. Fast forward to about 6 months ago. By now, I’m starting to get into fics. J2 had become my loves. So, I ask my best friend on here for some wincest fics. Of course, he is very happy to oblige. I read a few and love them, and these fics were in character, and you know, I could see it happen in my mind.
Well, then I decided to do a complete re-watch of the show. That first gif up there, from Playthings, when I got to that episode, I was done. That codependency on each other. That LOVE and TRUST they show for one another. It was like something snapped together in my mind. This is IT.  This is what love looks like. Then I get to In My Time of Dying. That look of utter despair from Sam. And from Dean. In my mind I see the need that they have for each other. And for me, how can anything else top that? 
It’s beautiful, it’s heartbreaking, it’s unconditional. They are two pieces of one soul. And I love them.
